Crews are still finishing the tram corridor along the Gold Coast Highway between Miami and Burleigh Heads. Works run overnight from Sunday evening to Friday morning, so expect occasional noise and machinery movements after dark. Ask for a double-glazed, road-facing room if you’re a light sleeper — we can usually arrange one. The Christine Avenue stop on our corner (tram plus connecting buses) is due to open mid-2026; until then, buses use the temporary stop at Miami One, about 300m away. Project updates: gclr3.com.au.

We sit on the Gold Coast Highway in Miami, right at the halfway point of the southern Gold Coast and about 12km from Gold Coast Airport. Step outside and Burleigh Beach is 200m away, straight down Sixth Avenue — a two-minute walk, not a marketing exaggeration.
The new tram-and-bus interchange for Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 is being built right at our corner and is due mid-2026. Once it opens, the airport bus, the coastal route, and the connection to Brisbane all stop steps from reception. Until then, the temporary stop at Miami One (~300m away) covers the same three routes for 50 cents a trip with a Go Card.
